Prepare the Perfect Rice Parisian

Ingredients

2/3 cup of raw rice
1/2 pound of fresh mushrooms, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 package dried onion soup
2 cups of Bone Broth by Design, ready
Parsley

Directions

Sauté rice and mushrooms in butter until rice is golden brown, for about 15 minutes, stirring often.
Add dried soup and water and mix well. Simmer about 30 minutes. Top with snipped parsley.

Creamy Chicken – Rice Soup

It’s that time of the year when preparing a creamy soup and snuggling in front of the TV is one of the best ways to rest after a long day. Prepare this chicken rice soup with Bone Broth by Design and prepare to taste a delicious meal full of nutrients your body will thank you for!


Ingredients

3/4 cup boiled chicken pieces

1 onion chopped finely

1/2 cup raw rice

1/4 cup chopped celery

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

1 cup of Bone Broth by Design

1/2 cup milk

Salt and Pepper


Directions

Mix the celery, chopped onion, rice, and bone broth. Cook till rice is done and remove from fire. Mix properly butter and flour in a separate bowl and then add 1 cup of milk to make a smooth paste. Add the paste to the rice mixture.

Put the mixture to a boil and stir continuously so that no lumps are formed. Add chicken pieces and stir continuously.  Season to taste cook for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

Spicy Beans and Rice Soup

You can use a leftover ham bone to make this tasty, hearty soup.

Ingredients

1 tbsp olive oil

1 onion, diced

2 stalks celery, diced

1 garlic, minced

48-oz. jar pinto beans, drained and rinsed

14-1/2 oz. can diced tomatoes with green chiles
Cooked ham, diced

Salt and Pepper

1 cup of Bone Broth by Design, ready

cooked rice

Directions

Add oil to a pot over medium-high heat. Stir in the onion, celery, and garlic; cook until softened.
Add the remaining ingredients, except rice. Simmer 45 minutes. Stir to combine. Garnish the soup over servings of rice.

Stuffed Green Pepper Soup

Ingredients

2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
2 cans tomato soup
1 can petite diced tomatoes
1 can mushroom pieces, drained
2 green peppers, diced
1 onion, diced
2 cups of Bone Broth by Design
2 cups of cooked rice

Directions

Combine all ingredients except broth and rice in a slow cooker. Stir in broth as needed until soup is of desired consistency.

Cover and cook on low setting for 4 to 6 hours, or until pepper and onion are tender. About 15 minutes before serving, stir in rice and heat through.
